Melatonin is a naturally produced hormone in the human brain. Everyone produces melatonin, even if you've never heard of it. It's the hormone that tells your brain, "It's nighttime: time to go to sleep and stay asleep." Practically speaking, it's the hormone that tells your body it's time to rest and repair.

Modern technology has given new meaning to "daylight". We run factories, restaurants, and supermarkets 24 hours a day. These modern marvels are wonderful, but unfortunately, our brains don't know how to handle the light that comes from these devices.
