This marinade adds a great flavor to any meat dish!
Let's face it, sometimes meats can get boring! Marinades are one of my favorite ways to give meats a new and interesting flavor. This particular marinade works well for meats that you want to add flavor without overpowering the meat. The lemon juice and salt work to tenderize the meat, and the rosemary and garlic give your chicken, fish, or veggies a new spin. Put this on a bed of spinach, gluten free pasta, quinoa, or rice for a full meal.
- 1/4 cup safflower oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/ teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
- 1/2 onion sliced
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
Mix all ingredients and marinate meat at least 2 hours before cooking. For best results with meats, marinade for 24 hours.
