Pattern

Interpretive Framing Orientation

A recurring regulatory configuration governing the general interpretive lens through which internal or external events are organized into personally meaningful cognitive frames.

Describes the usual way a person's mind tends to frame experiences so they take on a particular meaning.

Scope

Applies to the patterned orientation by which situations, memories, sensations, or interactions are mentally framed before emotional or behavioral implications unfold. Distinct from Threat & Demand Appraisal, which governs detection of challenge or threat, and from Emotional Tone & Stress Reactivity Regulation, which governs the emotional response that follows interpretation.
