It would be great, wouldn't it, if our daily life was wrapped up like a TV sitcom.
It would be great, wouldn't it, if our daily life was wrapped up like a TV sitcom. If we went to bed each night and woke up the next morning without any of the things from yesterday weighing us down. Go to bed in pain, wake up refreshed. Sick kid at night, totally refreshed and healthy the next day. Go to bed hurting for a friend, waking up knowing the problem was solved, etc...
We may not be able to wrap our struggles up with each sunset, but God promises us that His mercies are new each day. That means whatever we face, God has some brand new, fresh for today mercies to guide us through each moment.
We are not promised an easy or perfect life, but we are promised abundant stability and faithfulness, loving-kindness, mercy, and tender compassion from God. That's all we really need when you think about it, because knowing the creator of the universe is walking beside you through the struggle is humbling, beautiful, and enough for today.
It is because of the Lord's mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Libby Wright, mother of four who homeschools, is an original founder of SupplementRelief.com in 2010. She suffered through challenging diseases including Interstitial Cystitis, Graves and Lyme. After years of little progress with traditional medicine, she pursued integrative medicine, applied what she learned, and got healthier. She became passionate about wanting others to experience the same "relief" she had come to know, and SupplementRelief.com was born. She is now managing her illness with a lot of prayer, a lot of nutrition/supplements, and a little prescription medicine. She has been able to resume her normal life and, while there is no cure for her particular conditions, she is able to cope, enjoy every day, and encourage others.
